Who is Florida ALLSTAR public adjusting, INC?: We DO NOT WORK FOR THE INSURANCE COMPANY, but are contracted (on a contingency) by claimants to handle the claim for you. We perform the same job functions as the company adjuster, but with one big difference: We are not on your company's payroll, therefore, we have no allegiance to them. We work tirelessly to maximize your insurance claim, so that you can quickly get your damaged property back in perfect condition. Since we get paid nothing unless we get you money, OUR ONLY PRIORTY IS GETTING YOU EVERY PENNY FOR YOUR CLAIM.

Why do people hire a public adjuster? People hire public adjusters for a number of reasons. Sometimes, they are in a situation where they want their settlement quickly, and they feel that the insurance company is dragging its feet on paying the claim. They may also feel that the amount of money that the insurance company is offering them for their property, loss of residence, or other coverage isn't sufficient, and would like a professional who is trained and licensed to calculate the damage, itemize it properly, can decipher the insurance policy, and negotiate from a knowledgeable standpoint. Most consumers are not able to do this with proficiency, because it is not their field of expertise. You wouldn't try and perform your own heart surgery, so you shouldn't try and calculate and settle your own insurance claim; it's simply not smart business.

What makes US as public adjusters, professional? First, a public adjuster must complete training which is controlled by the department of financial services, in their state. In Florida, we are trained on how the insurance policy works, and what the coverages are. If you have ever looked at your insurance policy, you will know what we are talking about. The policies are written by lawyers, and they are very confusing. The confusing nature of the written words in the policy easily give the insurance company and edge, since most untrained people have a hard time understanding it.  This is a perfect case of, "The more you understand, the better."  WE ARE HERE TO LEVEL THE PLAYING GROUND.  Aside from being licensed, we must also be bonded. We have a responsibility to the policy holder, because we are in essence, acting as your fiduciary. We are trained, licensed and bonded professionals with a financial responsibility to our clients.

What do we do? We assess the damage and itemize each and every part of it. We decipher your policy and coverage from an outside perspective. We handle the paperwork. We gather the most recent information, and we present the claim to your insurance company.  We will then fight for every penny, to make sure you receive the best settlement possible for your situation. You can try to do all of this yourself, but be prepared to be eaten alive!

How we get paid? We get paid only when there is a settlement. Our fees are right in line with state regulations, and we are required to be fair to consumers.  Since our fees are a small, fair percentage of the final settlement, it is our goal to legally get you every last penny.

How do I know if I need a public adjuster?  Dealing with an insurance company yourself can be a daunting task.  Since as a consumer, you likely do not know how to accurately assess the damage and know what your coverages are, you will be forced to take the insurance company's advice and settlement offer.  You need a public adjuster because we are trained in the workings of your policy, trained in estimating the damage, and trained in negotiations and settlements.

What types of claims can ALLSTAR assist in?  All commercial, residential, and marine claims.  Even if you have been paid already, you have up to 5 years to reopen a claim.   All perils from Hurricane to theft to a broken water pipe or leaky air conditioner.  We handle them all.

WHAT ABOUT A CLAIM THAT WAS ALREADY PAID?

In Florida, you have 5 years to reopen a property loss claim even if an adjuster came out, you settled upon an amount, you received a check, cashed it, and did repairs.  Many times, the amount that was agreed upon is simply not enough to complete the project, or to complete it correctly.  There are many factors involved in the restoration process that cause additional expenses to arise.  Many times, the settlement amount was simply not enough.

Allow us to assess your old claim for FREE.  There is no obligation and we will tell you whether we think there is more money waiting for you.
